If I understand how this works, it isn't really SMS messaging per se but a TextNow to TextNow texting app. It uses the SMS messaging system, but unless the other person has the TextNow, they can't recieve and respond. Shouldn't matter whether you texing internationally or not, just that the other person has the app running. At least that's how the other "SMS" free texting programs work.

on this app the preson you are sending the message to does not have to have it and on top of that you can sind messages to anyone no matter what there cell serves is and for ipods it only work throgh wifi but if you have a iphone it works off of 3g and 4g but i stoped using this app cuz text free with voice has calling and all you have to do is earn minets witch is very easy
