Do you know what a 'Decline Close-grip Benchpress' is? No, neither did I until I'd worked through iFitness on the iPhone and iPod Touch. With multiple updates over the last year, this has evolved into perhaps the premiere iPhone-based exercise aid. It's worth noting a big bias in iFit...

Like the other exercise app...

iPhone developers have taken it upon themselves to develop applications for nearly anything that would improve your life, yet, through a great deal of research, I’ve discovered that America’s gridiron league can’t be found anywhere near the iPad. Read the rest of this entry » |

Unless you live in places like southern California, the weather is something you constantly need to check and be prepared for. Even now, in the Summer, you never know when it will be blisteringly hot, horribly humid, or damp and windy. Luckily, there are some weather apps that can help you gather a more accurate daily outlook so that there won’t be many surprises (unless you like getting caught in thunderstorms). These apps are “what’s hot”: Read the rest of this entry » |

Every 4 years, the whole world goes crazy because of a certain event: FIFA World Cup. Although not as popular as baseball or football per say, soccer(football everywhere else except for the U.S.) is gaining ground in the United States as well, and 2010 World Cup is right around the corner! For those who are pumped, and just can’t wait to see the games happen, allow me to introduce: 11Kicks.
11Kicks, a free application made by Footbo, is a fantasy soccer(football) game that lets you enter a new team every week and compete with others in public or private. You can also follow your team’s progress in real-time, check out the opponent’s line ups, follow the latest match scores and the events, and talk about them with your friends! A lot of people enjoy playing games by singing, tapping, or blowing into their iPhones. But have you ever thought you can play a game by… jumping?
A nice Jump Jump fitness game came to our attention this weekend. To play, hold the iPhone/Touch firmly in your hand, listen to the music, get a knack of the rhythm and jump on cue, trying to land exactly in the middle of the target shown on the screen. The more accurate your timing, the more points you get.
Jump Jump and enjoy better health, improved fitness, reduced weight, boosted immunity and even increased oxygen flow to the brain. |

This is not a game!!. It’s a bona fide simulator designed to assist any golfer in determining the break and travel of a putt.
It uses two “lie” readings, one at the ball and the other at the cup… to simulate the real trajectory of the putt, given enough power to travel to the ball. Read the rest of this entry » |

First of all congratulations everybody that the wait and hype is finally over. All of us at iPhoneApplicationList.com are very excited about the new device. We see a lot of opinions in the press that it looks like “overgrown giant iPhone” or that there are no new features on the iPad compared to iPhone.
I do not think so! The tremendous difference is exactly in the screen size, content (movies, newspapers, books) made for big screen and WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT — APPS for big screen! Developers, just think about the opportunity of developing and using new innovative interfaces with huge multi-touch OLED beauty! This is a new platform even if it looks same as iPhone and huge challenge to get your applications right and discover all the new use cases of the device.
Do not get mislead. We are going to see a success of iPad. |
